Like Caleb, we all must overcome our past experiences and seek to believe what we know to be true.
You must remember that you have gifts, skills, capabilities, and experiences that you can still put to use and continue with your journey to purpose.
When I finished school, I had attempted to join KTN but was told I looked too young on the screen.
Soon afterwards, I sought to gain admission into KIMC but failed. At the time, KIMC was the only institution offering studies in journalism, and therefore my inability gain entry, seemed to have slammed the door on my face. I had completely lost the dream of becoming a journalist.
Years later, I made a further attempt to join Citizen TV as an anchor. Again, I failed.
Something within me, however, knew that I would only draw satisfaction from being in the media industry.
I pursued and found a position in the advertising department at Citizen TV. Finding this space in the media industry gave me a sense of fulfilment.
I had settled.
By God’s Grace….decades later…I stepped into the studio. This time with a mission… a mission to reclaim destinies and awaken dreams.
A mission to coach people…and cheer them on to finding their true definition of success.
Because I know, only too well, the burden of dead dreams.
Speaking of which, have you bought yourself, your child, niece or nephew Power Your Vision???
