Hidden from the World

by Judy Mzungu

I found myself in rooms and spaces where they could only see my external circumstances.

They could only see the broke rejected girl, who had been beaten by circumstances of life.

And that meant I had to endure seasons of humiliation, dishonor and disfavor.

You see, when God hides you it looks like rejection, being a misfit and not blending in.
The people around you cannot see you for who you are.

You are Hidden.

People are limited. They will view you by how you dress, the car you drive, your address; and the little they knew about you in your former interactions.

They will box you into what they always knew about you.

They will try to make demands on you based on the limited perspective of what they once knew of you.

Don’t be offended.

They are not entirely wrong. They are simply not privy to God’s inner dealings with you.
The people around you don’t have an inkling of an idea of the inner workings of God in your life.

While you take your inner journey, while God is dealing you, while you are going through an inner transition, there is a shift taking place on the inside.

You are being processed into Purpose.
You have been hidden from them.

And so today, I come to encourage anyone who is being Hidden. Hold no offense in your heart as you endure the less than honourable treatment. I pray that the Lord grants you the grace to incubate His Purpose for your life.

Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. Safari Njema!
